Description

An exploration of the fundamentals of three-dimensional art, including techniques, materials, and concepts. Students learn core skills in ceramics and sculpture—such as wheel throwing, handbuilding, glazing, and firing—while engaging in the planning, formation, and finishing of their works. Emphasis is placed on developing technical skills, creativity, and personal expression, as well as understanding the historical and contemporary contexts of 3-D art.
