Description
A continuation of foundational painting concepts with an emphasis on expressive problem-solving and material exploration. Students refine observational and compositional skills while expanding their technical proficiency in acrylic, oil, or watercolor (on a rotating basis). Focus is placed on personal artistic development, experimentation with media, and the exploration of historical and contemporary painting practices.
Prerequisite: ART 120
