Description
An integration of prior skills and content in gallery and museum management through an off-campus internship. Students gain hands-on experience in professional exhibition spaces, working with curators, artists, and cultural institutions. Emphasis is placed on advanced curatorial practices, collections stewardship, public programming, and professional networking within the field.
Prerequisite: ART 390 or ART 391 or ART 392.
Note 1: Course is also offered as ART 492 for two semester hours, and ART 491 for one semester hour. The course can be taken twice for credit.
Note 2: All internships must be approved by the department internship coordinator.
