Description

A survey course of teh diversity of plants and animals on Earth. We will emphasize biodiversity,evolutionary relationships, adaptations, and ecology of plants and animals. The first half of the course will cover the diversity of animal life,starting from simple unicellular organisms and moving up to the evolution of tetrpods in terrestial environoments. The second half of the course will explore the diversity of plants and related organisms. Spring. Prerequisite: BIO 101
