Description
The objectives of this course are (1) to examine the nature and causes of crimes involving terrorism; particularly the evolving character of domestic and transnational terrorism impacting the United States, (2) to identify and compare strategies for preventing and controlling international and domestic terrorism which are violations of criminal law, (3) to assess the current thrust of U.S. policy and organizational structure for combating terrorism, and (4) to identify specific problems terrorism presents for criminal justice system agencies.
