Description
Introduction to the processes of newswriting that journalists use in preparing copy for traditional and electronic publications (including Internet publishing). Special emphasis is given to news values, writing leads, and story organization in preparation of news and feature copy. This is a writing intensive course. Fall. Prerequisite: ENG 102 or 103.
