Description

(Methods and Materials for Children with Special Needs, Birth-Five Years of Age)
This course gives the student the opportunity to apply knowledge of the young child's development (both typical and atypical) in designing, adapting, and implementing appropriate activities across the curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with special needs. Students will develop competencies in the methodology, instructional techniques, and the implementation of specific curriculum as they relate to early intervention. Prerequisite: Stage II.
