Description

(Health System Organization Development and Behavior)

This course examines leadership and organizational behavior through a systematic, intergrative analysis of individual and group leadership and management techniques. Students will gain an enhanced understanding of healthcare organizations, staff members', and healthcare professionals' development and understanding of diverse patient populations and healthcare organizational environments. Students will also develop a basic knowledge and understanding of the major theories, principles, as well as legal and ethical issues contributing to effective organizational leadership and management to attain organizational performance.

Prerequisite: HEA 360
