Description

Describes the changes in behavior and mental processes that accompany aging. Included are biological, socio-cultural, personality and developmental theories of the aging process as well as factors that contribute to individual differences in how people respond to aging. Emphasis is placed on reviewing recent research on aging and applying that research to the issue of how to make the aging process a positive experience. Fall, odd years. Prerequisite: PSY 101.
