From November through this past weekend, Xavier basketball played 31 regular season games, 11 road contests, won 27 times, dumped a couple dozen pounds of confetti on their court and logged approximately 14,578 miles of travel.
It's all in the past. Now, it's on to the Big East and NCAA tournaments – competitions that are sewn into the fabric of American sports culture.
Now, March Madness beckons.
For Xavier, the postseason begins Thursday at noon at Madison Square Garden, and there will be ample time to dissect the postseason and where Xavier fits in it.
