When you think of tech-related jobs, the first place that often comes to mind is Silicon Valley.  For years, Silicon Valley ruled the tech scene as the city with the most promise and opportunity. If you could make it in Silicon Valley, you could make it anywhere.  However, there are many other U.S. cities that provide the same opportunities for college graduates looking for careers in technology. Here are some of the top U.S. college towns with huge tech employers.

Austin, TX

Austin, Texas is frequently noted for its thriving tech scene, and the city is particularly known for its population of startup companies.  Austin is also home to several colleges and universities, including St. Edward’s University, Concordia University Texas, and the University of Texas at Austin.  College grads looking to break into the tech field have plenty of opportunities, as major companies like Apple, Dell, and IBM all have offices in Austin.
