Description
This course will address the history of theatre from its origins to the present time with an emphasis on primary motivators and innovators in the field. Key political, cultural and socio-economic factors and their influence on individuals and institutions will be studied as well as major periods and their representative dramatists. This course will be writing-intensive course, appropriate and enjoyable form majors and non-majors alike.
