Description

A field study of the distribution and adaptations of plants and animals in the valleys, slopes, streams, and ponds of the North Carolina mountains. Involves daily field trips for observation and collection. Summer only. Prerequisite: None, but some prior study and understanding of plant and animal taxonomy is presumed. Note: Limited enrollment; open only by application to the department.
