An in-depth study of a business organization or industry. The student is provided with background material; i.e., financial, management, and marketing aspects of the operation of the organization of industry. An extensive field trip is required, which reinforces the background material while allowing the student to experience and collect data on the organization or industry. The collected data is then incorporated into a group presentation. January term. Note: This is a topic course that may be taken for credit two times, provided that the student uses a different business organization or industry for the focus of the study each time.
