Creates an environment for students to think strategically about the communication process within a business context. Given that effective written and oral communication skills are essential components of a successful business and academic career, the course will focus on business writing and oral presentation skills as well as the importance of improving stuents' analytical abilities.

Prerequisite: WRT 102, CIS 110. Sophomore standing

Note: This course serves as the Gateway course for the School of Business. A grade of "C-" or higher is required for graduation.
