Description

(Thesis Research Project, Paper and Oral Defense)

This course creates an opportunity to integrate knowledge of criminological theory and criminal justice policies with research skills gained throughout the program, while working toward completion of the graduate degree. Successful completion of this course requires the formulation of a research question that addresses an identified societal/criminological problem, the conceptualization of the scope of the answer, an operationalization of the research to be done, and the submission of an in-depth research proposal addressing theory, methodology, and policy.
