Description
Pharmaceutical Research Project II is the second course in a two-part capstone sequence, where students implement the research proposal developed in Pharmaceutical Research Project I. Under faculty mentorship, students will conduct laboratory or literature-based investigations related to pharmaceutical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, drug design, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, or related fields. The course emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, data collection, and scientific integrity. Students will analyze and interpret results, revise research plans as needed, and prepare both a final research paper and a professional oral or poster presentation for public or departmental dissemination.
Prerequisites: CHE 311, CHE 312, CHE 327, CHE 425, and CHE 490.
