Description
A course in the topics, terminology, and techniques utilized in the modern audio recording studio. The course is taught in a lecture/lab format. Topics covered include the nautre of sound and hearing, acoustics, the audio production console, microphone design, selection and utilization, analog and digital audio recording techniques, mixing, signal processing and studio session procudures.
Prerequisite: COM 216
