Description

The intership is supervised work experience in a professional setting, allowing students to establish industry contacts within their career field. Students will be required to complete 120 hours at the site of their internship, as well as complete a journal detailing their experience.

Prerequisites: Junior standing. Students must also meet the following criteria: 1) a minimum 2.00 cumulative grade point average. 2) a minimum 2.50 grade point average in major courses. 3) completion of courses (as listed below) in the student's concentration area with a minimum of C-: -- for the Digital Communications Concentration: COM 215, COM 216, COM 225; -- for the Strategic Communications Concentration: COM 225, COM 321.


Note; All internships must be approved by the department internship coordinator. Pass/Fail grading.
