Description

This course is designed to provide students with information and skills that will facilitate effective consultation and professional collaboration in education and interdisciplinary settings. In this course, we will (1) explore literature relevant to educational consultation and interdisciplinary systems of care, (2) develop and implement a consultation-based service delivery option with application in the field, (3) develop essential consultation/collaboration skills for educational professional working with families and other professionals, and (4) understand the implication of collaboration and consultation to bring about educational change.
