Description

This course focuses on the integration of several 21st century learning and thinking skills - including critical thinking and problem solving skills, communication skills, creativity and innovation skills, collaboration skills (as is cooperative learning), and contextual learning skills - situated in the context of content aligned with state and national standards in elementary school mathematics and science. Students will complete content modules in math and science, create and implement lessons that integrate these content areas and provide meaningful contexts for student learning, will assess the student learning, and will reflect on the process in order to extend student learning.
