Description

(Teaching Language to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing K-12)
A study of the principles and techniques of teaching language to the deaf and hard of hearing child. The course includes a survey of current practices in language instruction for deaf and hard of hearing children. Diagnosis and remediation of individual language problems are also stressed. Fall. Prerequisite: Stage II.
