Description
This course focuses on gifted education from an international, national, state, and local level. Participants examine the historical foundations of gifted education and the impact this history has had upon legislation, characteristics of gifted learners, identification of gifted learners, and services for gifted education. A special emphasis is placed upon Article 9B, North Carolina?s legislation for gifted education.
