Description
(Teaching Secondary Physical Education)
Students will learn aspects of teaching secondary physical education including the characteristics of secondary school students; testing; grading; teaching team sports, lifetime activities, and health related fitness; and effective teaching techniques. Students will gain teaching experience through peer teaching as well as observations and small group instruction in the public schools.
Prerequisite: Stage I (Teacher Education Program).
